ACTSPRAY Visits CIOE 2026: Exploring the Evolution of High-Speed Optical Modules

ACTSPRAY team visits CIOE 2026 to explore 800G and 1.6T optical module technologies

On September 10, 2026, the ACTSPRAY team visited the China International Optoelectronic Expo (CIOE 2026) in Shenzhen.

As a major exhibition for the optoelectronics and optical communication industry, CIOE brought together a wide range of technologies, products, and solutions covering optical communications, data centers, lasers, sensing, and related applications.

From 800G to 1.6T: A Fast-Evolving Optical Module Market

One of the most noticeable trends during our visit was the rapid development of high-speed optical modules.

800G optical modules were widely showcased across the exhibition, while 1.6T optical modules and related solutions were also attracting considerable attention.

The evolution from 800G to 1.6T reflects the growing demand for higher bandwidth and faster data transmission, particularly in data centers and AI-related infrastructure.

What stood out to us was not simply the increase in transmission speed, but how quickly the entire optical module industry is evolving to meet these new requirements.

Higher Performance, Higher Manufacturing Requirements

As optical modules become faster, smaller, and more highly integrated, manufacturing processes are also becoming increasingly demanding.

Component cleanliness, surface quality, residue control, and process consistency are important factors in optical module assembly and subsequent manufacturing processes.

For ACTSPRAY, this is closely related to our focus on precision cleaning solutions for optical communication modules, semiconductor components, and electronic assemblies.

Our cleaning technologies are designed for applications where controlled washing, rinsing, and drying are required to remove process residues while maintaining consistent production quality.

A Look into the Future of Optical Communications

CIOE 2026 gave us a valuable opportunity to see the latest developments in optical communication technology and better understand the direction of the industry.

From 800G to 1.6T, optical module technology continues to move toward higher speed, higher density, and more demanding manufacturing requirements.

It was a productive visit for the ACTSPRAY team, and we look forward to continuing to develop precision cleaning solutions for the evolving needs of the optical communication and electronics industries.
