Product Description
The DC350 Inline Water Washing Machine is designed for automatic removal of solder balls, board debris, dust and other surface contaminants from PCBA, IC trays and transfer trays.
Unlike chemical-based PCBA washing systems, the DC350 uses DI water as the washing and rinsing medium, making it suitable for applications where water-soluble flux residues or loose process contaminants need to be removed without a chemical washing solution.
The machine integrates DI water washing, multi-stage DI water rinsing, cold-air knife drying and hot-air drying into one continuous conveyorized process. Products enter from the loading end and are transported through each process section at a controlled conveyor speed before being discharged dry and ready for the next production step.
The washing section uses high-volume upper and lower spray nozzles to provide effective coverage across the product surface. Water pressure can be adjusted according to the product and process requirements.
After washing, the product passes through three DI water rinsing stages to remove remaining contaminants and washing water. The final cold-air knife section removes surface water, followed by hot-air drying to reduce residual moisture before discharge.
The DC350 can be connected with board loaders, unloaders, conveyor transfer systems and other upstream or downstream equipment to form a continuous automated washing line.
Process Flow
Loading → Water Vapor Isolation → DI Water Wash → DI Water Rinse 1 → DI Water Rinse 2 → Final DI Water Rinse → Air Dry→ Hot-Air Knife Dry → Unloading
Working Principle
During operation, the product is transferred onto the conveyor and moves through the washing, rinsing and drying sections at the preset conveyor speed.
In the DI water washing section, high-volume spray nozzles direct water onto the upper and lower surfaces of the product. The spray force removes loose contaminants such as solder balls, board debris and dust.
The product then enters the multi-stage DI water rinsing section. Three rinse stages provide additional removal of residual contaminants and washing water before the final drying process.
Adjustable air knives remove water from the product surface before it enters the hot-air drying section. Heated air removes remaining moisture and prepares the product for transfer to the next production process.

Machine Structure
The DC350 consists of four main functional sections:
1. Water Vapor Isolation Section
The water vapor isolation section helps limit water vapor migration between the washing area and the surrounding production environment, supporting cleaner operation around the machine.
2. DI Water Washing Section
The washing section uses high-volume spray nozzles positioned above and below the conveyor. Spray pressure can be adjusted according to the product and washing requirements.
The section is primarily used to remove solder balls, board debris, dust and other loose contaminants from PCBA and tray surfaces.
3. DI Water Rinsing Section
The rinsing section includes three stages:
- DI Water Rinse 1
- DI Water Rinse 2
- Final DI Water Rinse
Multiple rinsing stages help remove remaining contaminants and washing water from the product before drying.
A DI water resistivity monitoring system is provided to monitor incoming DI water quality.
4. Air Drying & Hot-Air Drying Section
After the final rinse, cold-air knives remove water from the product surface. The product then passes through the hot-air drying section to remove remaining moisture.
The air-knife pressure, upper air-knife height and angle can be adjusted according to the product geometry and drying requirements.
