How the IC600 Works
The product is placed inside the test chamber and exposed to the circulating test solution. Ionic contaminants remaining on the product surface are extracted into the solution during the test.
The solution is continuously circulated through the measurement system, where its resistivity is measured. The IC600 processes the measurement data automatically and determines the corresponding ionic contamination level.
The enclosed test chamber, controlled solution temperature and liquid-level monitoring help maintain stable test conditions during the measurement process.
Key Features
High-Precision Resistivity Measurement
The IC600 uses a PRO-grade resistivity measurement system. The system is designed to reduce measurement errors caused by solvent polarization and provide stable measurement results.
Automatic Calibration
Automatic calibration simplifies daily operation. No complicated manual calculations are required during normal testing.
Static and Dynamic Test Modes
Both static and dynamic testing modes are available to suit different testing requirements.
Immersion Circulation Spray Extraction
The circulation spray system provides continuous contact between the test solution and the product surface, helping extract ionic residues more thoroughly.
Controlled Test Temperature
The test solution is heated to approximately 40°C during testing to maintain consistent test conditions.
Fully Enclosed Test Chamber
The enclosed test environment helps reduce the influence of ambient air and CO₂ on the test solution and measurement results.
Real-Time Liquid Level Monitoring
An HD camera monitors the test solution level during testing. Maintaining a stable liquid level helps improve measurement consistency.
Resin Regeneration System
A dedicated resin regeneration system provides fast regeneration and helps extend resin service life.
Optimized Circulation System
The internal piping layout and component selection are optimized for efficient solution circulation and shorter test cycles.
Automatic Test Operation
The control software handles the test procedure and data calculation automatically. The interface is designed for straightforward operation by production and quality personnel.
Large Test Area
The IC600 accommodates products up to:
600 × 650 × 45 mm
This allows the same system to be used for both relatively small boards and larger PCB/PCBA assemblies.
Applications
The IC600 can be used in:
- PCB cleanliness inspection
- PCBA cleanliness testing
- Ionic contamination testing after PCB cleaning
- Cleaning process verification
- SMT production quality control
- Outgoing inspection
- Process development and optimization
- Semiconductor component cleanliness testing
For PCB and PCBA manufacturers, ionic contamination test results can be used together with the cleaning process data to evaluate whether flux residues and other ionic contaminants have been adequately removed.
Typical Use in a PCB Cleaning Process
The IC600 can be placed after the PCBA cleaning process as a cleanliness verification tool.
PCBA Assembly → Cleaning → Rinsing → Drying → Ionic Contamination Testing
The measured result provides an additional reference for evaluating cleaning performance and monitoring process stability.
Test Product Size
Maximum product size: 600 × 650 × 45 mm
The test chamber is suitable for different PCB and PCBA sizes within the specified working range.
