Industrial Control Customer Visits ACTSPRAY for PCBA Cleaning Trial

September 4, 2026 | Customer Visit

Today, ACTSPRAY welcomed a customer from the industrial control industry for a PCBA cleaning test at our facility.

The customer brought actual PCBA boards for testing, allowing our engineers to evaluate the cleaning performance under real application conditions. The test was carried out using the AC530 Batch PCBA Cleaning Machine, with the process parameters adjusted according to the customer’s requirements.

PCBA Cleaning Test Parameters

The test was conducted with the following process:

Cleaning time: 15 minutes

Rinsing: 3 minutes × 5 cycles

Spray pressure: 5 kgf/cm2

Drying: ACTSPRAY performed preliminary surface blow-drying, while the customer chose to complete the final drying process using their own oven to save time.

The test produced an excellent result, achieving a 99.8% cleaning effectiveness on the customer’s PCBA boards.

Excellent Cleaning Performance on Real PCBAs

Testing with the customer’s actual boards provides a practical way to verify cleaning performance before equipment selection. PCB design, component density, contamination type, and process parameters can all influence the final cleaning result.

In this test, the AC530 successfully removed the targeted process residues from the industrial control PCBAs, achieving a cleaning effectiveness of 99.8% under the selected process conditions.

The customer was satisfied with the test result and will continue evaluating the boards after the final drying process.

Application-Based PCBA Cleaning Evaluation

At ACTSPRAY, we encourage customers to bring their actual PCBA boards for testing whenever possible. Rather than recommending equipment based only on general specifications, our engineers can evaluate the real boards, contamination, and required cleaning performance to help determine a suitable cleaning process.

The AC530 is designed for batch PCBA cleaning applications where thorough removal of flux residues and other process contaminants is required.
